Procurement Analyst

Lakeland is currently actively recruiting for a dedicated Procurement Analyst to optimize the procurement and sourcing activities. As a Procurement Analyst you will perform a critical function within the supply chain management process, focusing on optimizing our procurement and sourcing activities. The primary goal is to conduct in-depth research and analysis of procurement-related data to support strategic decision-making, maximizing operational efficiency, and minimizing risks. As Procurement Analyst you will play a crucial role in achieving these objectives by analyzing data, market trends, supplier performance, and other factors to make informed procurement decisions by leveraging data-driven insights to support the procurement team in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier evaluations, and overall procurement process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct data analysis on supplier performance, spend data, and market trends
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
- Create and maintain procurement reports and dashboards
- Support the Procurement Team in supplier relationship management
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align procurement strategies with organizational goals
- Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure Procurement activities align with budgetary constraints
- Utilize procurement software and tools to streamline processes and enhance data analysis
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to procurement policies and procedures
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests from the Procurement team and other departments

REQUIREMENTS:
- Problem solving and data analysis skills
- Sourcing and procurement strategy development experience
- Experience interpreting market research
- Supplier relationship management experience
- Financial analysis and budgeting skills
- Contract management and negotiation experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 3-5 years of related Procurement experience preferred
- CSCP Certification preferred
