Global Web Manager

As Lakeland's experienced Global Web Manager, you will serve as a change agent in evolving our web properties. In this role on our Marketing Team, you'll be responsible for the evolution of our strategic roadmap, the maintenance of Lakeland.com and the integration or evolution of 9+ sites making up our current web ecosystem.  You will identify areas to optimize to improve website performance. You will collaborate closely with multiple functions and key business stakeholders to advance business objectives through our digital channels and platforms.  This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of the strategic growth of our online channels and global website strategy within our corporate marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing the day-to-day strategy and global use of the Lakeland.com suite of web properties
• Partner with regional marketing, creative and sales to scope projects, measure results and continue improving the suite of web properties
• Assist the Sr. Graphic Designer with graphics, video, and multimedia production for the web
• Manage the Amazon Ecommerce Webstore
• Develop standards, templates and tool kits around SEO, page set up, measurement and other governance tools
• Manage the web properties to comply with data privacy laws, security, ADA, and other areas of compliance
• Maintain Web Content Management System with support from outsourced agency
• Build and maintain a body of documentation i.e. a wiki for dev tools, hosting and other applicable information for future tracking

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent project management skills including the ability to formulate and drive detailed plans and key performance indicators to report on the health of each project 
• Ability to develop and present communications, frequently to senior leadership, communicating the desire message, at the appropriate level, for the right recipient 
• Ability to build relationships with key individuals necessary for collaboration
• Ability to maintain a stable system for continuous web updates and backups built with collaboration and security in mind
• Excellent understanding of WordPress
• Experience with enabling foreign-language capabilities and product localization for global websites
• Proficient knowledge of block editor themes such as Elementor, WpBakery, Divi, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of html and css/scss -  knowledge of javascript is beneficial, but not required
• Solid understanding of building information architectures and refining user-experience journeys
• Utilization of Google Analytics and other analytics platforms/tools for online insights
• Experience in SEO
• Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop
• 5-7 years of related experience (web content management, integrated marketing across search, backend development, frontend development, online e-commerce stores, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree
