Position Summary The Print Production Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that meet company standards. This role ensures timely and accurate completion of print jobs, manages print supply inventory, and upholds quality control and safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials according to specifications.
Prepare and process print jobs, including reviewing job requirements, loading/cutting materials, and ensuring accurate output.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printers and related equipment to minimize downtime.
Monitor and manage inventory of print supplies (paper, ink, toner) and report low stock levels promptly.
Inspect finished products for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
Organize and file completed print jobs for easy retrieval and proper documentation.
Follow safety and operational guidelines to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to meet deadlines and prioritize urgent requests.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in printing or related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in print production or similar role.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on printing equipment.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures in a production environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Manual dexterity for handling materials and operating equipment.
